Andrew Kapoor

Andrew Kapoor is a Master of Science candidate at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto. He completed his Bachelor of Sciences (Hons) at McMaster University in Biology and Kinesiology. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree Andrew spent a year in Swaziland as a CIDA intern coordinating a youth HIV peer education program. He has also worked on projects in Ghana, and Botswana related to sport for development and aboriginal health. Under the supervision of Dr. Halla Thorsteinsdóttir, Andrew's thesis work looks at collaborations between Sub-Saharan Africa and emerging economies in the field of health biotechnology.
