Claudia Emerson

Claudia Emerson is a Postdoctoral Fellow within the Regenerative Medicine Ethics Network (RMEthNEt), for which she is also the Coordinator.  Her project is an investigation of the ethical issues emerging in neuro-regenerative medicine.  Claudia's interdisciplinary training combines a BSc in Biomedical Science, Biochemistry (Guelph) with MA and PhD studies in Philosophy specializing in Bioethics (McMaster).  Her doctoral dissertation is an examination of privacy, confidentiality, and consent in health research, and she has an ongoing interest in these issues in the context of neuroscience and novel therapeutic interventions.
