Michael Hawkes

Michael Hawkes is a PhD Candidate at Sandra A. Rotman Laboratories, McLaughlin Rotman Centre for Global Health within the Translational Research Pillar.

Michael's research projects include: (1) malaria-tuberculosis co-infection; (2) host innate defense against mycobacteria; (3) humanized mice for in vivo pharmacodynamic studies of novel antimalarial agents; and (4) design of a randomized controlled trial of novel treatments for severe and cerebral malaria.
