Renaud Boulanger
Renaud Boulanger joined the ESC program in 2008, first as a Summer Student and then as a Research Assistant, to research community engagement in the developing world under the supervision of Drs. Jim Lavery and Sunita Bandewar. Before joining the McLaughlin-Rotman Centre for Global Health, Renaud worked as a Summer Student at the Joint Centre for Bioethics. During his appointment, he reviewed the Advance Care Planning pilot protocol of Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga and presented his recommendations to clinicians and senior managers. Through his involvement with the Centre for Urban Health Initiatives and the student union, Renaud has also participated in strengthening the Placement program of the Health Studies major at the University of Toronto.
Renaud graduated in 2005 from the United World College of the Atlantic, where he completed the International Baccalaureate. He is currently finishing his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and hopes to pursue graduate education in bioethics, with a focus on global issues and neuroethics.
