Tinya Lin

Tinya Lin is a Summer Student at the McLaughlin-Rotman Centre for Global Health within the Ethical, Social, and Cultural Program for Grand Challenges in Global Health Initiative, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She is assisting Dr. Jim Lavery and Dr. Sunita Bandewar on the community engagement team. Tinya is currently studying Health Sciences at McMaster University with a specialization in Global Health. Prior to working at the McLaughlin-Rotman Centre for Global Health, she spent four months in rural India learning about community-based primary health care with a grassroots NGO.
