Tomas Krakowski

Tomas Krakowski is a Summer Student at the McLaughlin-Rotman Centre for Global Health within the Commercialization Pillar, working with the Product Development Team. Currently he is developing a conceptual framework for emerging life science enterprises in the developing world that are employing a social business model. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto, majoring in Human Biology and Health Studies. He wrote two undergraduate theses, the first focusing on community mental health at the Centre for Urban Initiatives with supervisor Dr. Jason Ramsay, and the second critically analyzing population based genomic variation research at MRC Global under supervisor Dr. Sarah Ali-Khan. He is pursuing further studies in respiratory therapy and, ultimately, cardiac perfusion.
